Commissions

First of all, thank you for your interest! I am honored that you are considering commissioning me to create a custom piece of art for you! Imagine yourself or a loved one portrayed as a dashing Elven archer, a rakishly sexy pirate, a debonair vampire, a cute winged goth girl or a dark Fairy Queen…whatever you dream up! I will do my best to bring your vision to life!

Please familiarize yourself with my style, which is Fantasy and Goth, and understand that my best art is that created in this style.
I can usually have your art completed within 4 weeks, sometimes much sooner. If you need something by a certain time, please email me to find out what my schedule is ahead of time.

It is very important that you provide clear, large pictures for me to work from. It is difficult to capture someone’s likeness from a small or blurry photo. These can be sent via email; there is no need to send your original photos. Also, please let me know if you have specific ideas for the color scheme or any other details; otherwise I will use artistic license as I see fit.

Prices will vary depending on size, complexity and mediums used. I currently work in graphite, colored pencil and watercolor or a mixture of these mediums. Following are my price guidelines and conditions.

I retain all copyright to the artwork and reserve the rights to sell prints of it unless it is a custom portrait. Then, it is up to you whether or not to allow prints to be sold. If you wish to obtain commercial rights to the art for a logo or other purposes; please email me as the costs will be higher.

I require 50% of the cost up front before I begin to work.  I will then begin sketches for your commissioned piece. Changes can be made at this time until the sketches are completed to your satisfaction. If satisfactory sketches can not be produced, the agreement comes to an end at this point and your money is refunded, less a $50 kill fee to cover my time already invested.

Upon viewing sketches and your verbal approval, l begin the painting process and no more changes to design can be made. Once I have begun the process of inking and/or painting, no money is refundable. The rest of the payment is expected before your art is shipped to you. I accept payment via PayPal.  Shipping and insurance is additional and not included in the listed prices. I retain the right to refuse a commission offer for any reason.

**Referral Bonus: If you like Kelly's art, tell your friends and family about her. For each person that commissions Kelly to create custom art for them and tells her you sent them, you will receive an Open Edition 8.5 x 10 print of your choice from those available for sale on her website.
