A lot has changed this year! I accidentally deleted my last post...oops! So, here's the quick version of the past year:

• I am back living in SC as of Summer 2014
  
• I traded in Betsy (my 1996 Ford Explorer with over 300,000 miles) and got a 2007 black Hummer H3
  
• My brother passed away and this broke my heart
  
• I got married! 
  
• I began taking business training courses
  
• I split my Etsy shop into two-one for Art and one for Jewelry
  
• Busy creating new jewelry
  
  

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates. My life has been in upheaval lately and things are just beginning to return to some semblance of normalcy. I think....

On August 18th, I officially moved from Chesnee, SC to Asheville, NC. About an hour and 15 minutes away from where I have lived my entire life. Off almost 8 acres of country land onto a small lot. Away from where all my family and friends are...you get the picture. I have a new place and I am slowly adjusting to all these changes. Hence the lack of new art or jewelry or updates.

Asheville is a very artsy, crafty town and I hope I will find lots of opportunities here. I hope the cultural variety and eclectic people and lifestyles will inspire my creativity as well. We'll see...I remain optimistic.

As for now, I am very homesick and missing my home in SC. I do have my art and jewelry supplies and books unpacked now though so I'm hoping things will feel more normal if I get back into the groove of creating. Wish me luck and cross your fingers that these life changes bode well for me.
